– Pause for 2-seconds at the bottom of the 1st rep, 1-second at the bottom of the 2nd rep and no pause on the final rep.
– Stay under tension at the bottom position (don’t relax)
– Drive up aggressively (and all the way UP) from the bottom of each repetition -

A1. Strict press – 5/5/4/3+ @ 80+%, rest 1:30 before A2
A2. Incline DB row – 3 x 8-12 @ RPE 8-9 (1-2 RIR), rest 2:00 before A1
– Do your first set @ or around 80%1RM strict press, then build up as the reps decrease over the remaining sets
– The final set is 3 or more reps @ the same weight or heavier than as your previous set -
