2012 CrossFit Games Open workout 12.3 Workout
After the normal dynamic and group warmups
STRENGTH OF THE DAY:
Build to a heavy 1 rep push press in 7 minutes - 165lbs (Personal Record by 20 lbs)
WOD:
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 18 minutes of:
15 Box jumps, 24″ , 20" box
115/75 pound Push press, 12 reps
9 Toes-to-bar
I could only manage 4 rounds + 15 box jumps and 5 push presses. I've not done 115 lbs for many reps before with my push presses. I noted that I did this as prescribed because of the weight and height of the box. The box jumps and toes-to-bar weren't RX, though, as my form lacked (didn't always stand up straight on top of box nor swing legs behind bar for T2B). Most of the other folks in class managed between 5 and 7 rounds + reps.
