Why The Process?
From athletes to athletes. Our coaches have all been training weightlifting, powerlifting and other sports for years. Our staff is constantly trying to learn more about training and coaching, and they develop our training programs all the time. We trust in methods which have been proven effective by our own experiences and scientific research. Our staff consists of medical doctors, physiotherapists, coaches, and other professionals. A mix up of different skills to make the best possible training programs for you.
Our programming includes three different options: Weightlifting Pro, Weightlifting Easy and Strength & Performance. Each of these programs is designed for a specific purpose. WL Pro is meant for more advanced weightlifters, who have already trained at least for couple years. WL Easy is for beginners and people who want to do weightlifting as a part of their training in another sport. S&P is based on the basic powerlifting movements: squat, bench and deadlift, and fits need of a powerlifter or as general physique training. Every training program includes active warm up routines, movements, and drills to prevent injuries as well as other functional parts. All programs have a structure that consists of different blocks which include cycles varying from 4 to 5 weeks in length. Every cycle is linked to others.
We have a library of functional training routines you can add to your training and an expanding video library, that helps you to understand the key points of different movements in your training program. In our Facebook-group you can ask the coaches as well as other athletes for help and advice.
Strength & Performance
S&P consists of a diverse set of activities and doesn`t contain demanding weightlifting movements. Training can be done at a normal gym, and it fits different people from powerlifters to people with active lifestyles. In this program you get 4 weekly training sessions.
Weightlifter Easy
Weightlifter Easy Fits people with some experience of Olympic weightlifting. Movements in the program are basics of weightlifting and they are easy to execute. In this program you get 3 weekly training sessions.
Weightlifter Pro
Weightlifter Pro is meant for a competitive athlete or a person, who wants to train weightlifting seriously. It includes everything you need to become a pro, same things as our head coach and Olympian Anni Vuohijoki does. In this program you get 5 weekly training sessions.
