Seminars of Stronghold Stronghold Introduction to Weightlifting Series
If you are looking to learn the olympic weightlifting movements either to take on the Stronghold weightlifting program when the gyms reopen or to add another strong to your training bow during lockdown, this series of workshops are for you. All you will need is a wooden dowel or broomstick of 4ft or greater length.
This workshop series is broken down into 3 sessions:
Session 1: The Snatch Saturday 13th Feb 11:00am
- Warm-up and Mobility for the Snatch
- Positions and phases of the Snatch
- Principles of progression
- 4 week at home snatch learning program (sent after workshop)
Session 2: The Clean Saturday 20th Feb 11:00am
- Warm-up and Mobility for the Clean
- Positions and phases of the Clean
- Principles of progression
- 4 week at home Clean learning program (sent after workshop)
Session 3: The Jerk Saturday 27th Feb 11:00am
- Warm-up and Mobility for the Jerk
- Positions and phases of the Jerk
- Principles of progression
- 4 week at home Jerk learning program (sent after workshop)
The cost for 3 workshops and at home progra,s is just £50 however we are limiting this to 10 spaces to allow for feedback for the individual during the session, don't worry if you can't attend all or even any of the sessions, the workshops will be rwcorded and sent to your email the following day along with the at home program.
